ABOUT US

Meet the Director...

Jaden Cheng

Hey everyone! I’m Jaden, a junior at Bonita High School and the founder of STEM Inspire. I started this club because when I was eight, I got a snap circuit kit and spent hours trying to wire up a fan. After a lot of trial and error (and a few failed attempts that made me question my skills), I finally got it to spin. That moment stuck with me—not just because it was cool, but because it showed me that STEM is all about figuring things out, making mistakes, and eventually getting it right. With STEM Inspire, we bring hands-on science and engineering activities to local parks and schools—things like launching water rockets, building circuits, and experimenting with magnetism—to give younger kids that same spark of curiosity. If you're into STEM or just want to help make it more fun and accessible for the next generation, come be a part of it!

OUR MISSION

STEM Inspire is dedicated to making STEM fun and accessible for kids through hands-on experiments and activities. We believe that one exciting experience can spark a lifelong passion for science and engineering, and we’re here to create those moments.

What We Do

What We Do

  • Host interactive STEM workshops at local parks, schools, churches, and community centers

  • Organize fun science experiments to engage younger kids

  • Encourage hands-on learning with projects like simple robotics, engineering challenges, and physics demos

  • Create a welcoming space for STEM enthusiasts to share ideas and develop leadership skills

Why It Matters

Not everyone gets early exposure to STEM, and for many kids, science and engineering can seem intimidating or out of reach. We want to change that. By making STEM fun, approachable, and hands-on, we hope to empower kids to explore, experiment, and believe in their potential.
